It's a well known fact in my family that I cut short my ski bumming days because I promised my mom I'd go to college. There was just something about getting my hands dirty in the studio and listening to music for hours that was SO much appealing than macro economics!
So I got an art degree.
Turns out it came in handy this summer.
Go figure!
The big focus since we've been here has been to prepare for a conference called Go4Glory in Harpenden, England. It's an international arts and sports festival and YWAM Davos is one of the exhibitors this year. If you're interested in learning more just click the blue link, it'll take you to their page.
(It's pretty cool, I would definitely click the link!)
We've all been working on elements (for the booth) that represent our school. Reto and Judy asked me to make a mountain to house the tv monitor that will be showing the promo video. I also made a 6ft long banner that will be hung behind the table. Adam and Reto made a mini state park. There are other parts of the display made by staffers Andu and Debi but I don't have photos of those. Hopefully after the conference I'll be able to update this post with a photo of the entire stand put together.
